Earlier, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen also confirmed that Flash 10.1 on Android will arrive soon. Few days later, Adobe rolled-out sign up for the Flash 10.1 beta for Android. Andy Rubin stated that Android 2.2 will have “full support for Adobe’s Flash standard” and Chrome. However, it is not made clear that the Android smartphone will have pre-installed Flash version or required to download Flash 10.1 for android separately.

This integration will enable the websites supporting Flash content to be accessible from the Android devices those using the Froyo aka android 2.2 Operating system.

Most likely the said feature would be announced on the top of Android 2.2 at Google I/O event in May 2010 and Adobe is expected to release Flash Player 10.1 by the end of June. Complete list of features of Android 2.2 Froyo can be found here.

We are already acquainted with the fact that Android is being ported to number of touch pads. The Flash 10.1 support on android should provide true comfort of surfing and anyone who has used an iPad will tell you, using a touch pad without flash is not pleasant at all.
