I'm having a hard time rooting my droid. I have the 2.1 update 1. i did a manual update to 2.1 and now i can't root it.. i just want to be able to do wireless tethering. i have google earth and other stuff.. and i have the wifi tether app but i can't use it because my phone is not rooted. please email me at wwallervzw@gmail.com if you can help. thank you

We will work with the developers of Android WiFi Tether to find a fix so that no one will have to disable features of another app.
