AppShopper indicates that the AppStore has already gone well beyond the threshold of 170,000 applications available and with the launch of iPad, it comes to 200,000 applications in no time.
The success was overwhelming and the number of application increases by about 1000 per day. The graph also shows the huge difference with other similar store and the huge growth that has occurred from June 2009 to March 2010. Android has the second largest store after Apple but the difference is still significant. Blackberry and Palm are way behind.
