According to president Xiong Yiwei of Shenzhen Huayi who is coming up with revolutionary iPad Clone, said that, in past they were able to extract a profit margin of upto 30% on counterfeit or fake cell phones. But now the customers are very cautious. Currently, profit margin of only US$1.50 is made per one product. On the other hand, they managed to extract fairly better profit margin (around US$15 per one product) on counterfeit netbooks last year. Now, the company hopes rely completely on iPad clone which is a matter of life or death for them.

There are about 400 counterfeit electronics product companies in Shenzhen City who consider the tablet PC as the most profitable item, but they know that their iPad clone operating system cannot be compared to the original Apple iPad’s. But eventually, there are certain set of geeks who just want to boast about the gadget or want to play around with it. Being low priced, company will able to extract considerable profit by selling fake chinese iPad to the market.
