my iphone 3gs was unlocked on 0S 3.1.3 and i tried installing something from Cydia and phone froze on me so i turned it off and now the only thing i get is the apple logo. I tried putting into recovery mode and restoring it to 3.1.3 again but it says this iphone is not build for this restore. Did u do it with a mac or a windows pc? It did not work out for me when i used mac but it did in windows.

im stuck on the restore in progress screen it's been like this for an hour and iv tried restoring the phone b4 i ran spirit and the exact same thing happens…what do i do

Hello mike! True, worked like a charm in windows. Not sure what the issue is with the mac installation. Was trying with an iBook with tiger os.Thanks anyways! Good to have jailbreaked!!!

Ramaze, I originally asked the "restore in progress" question, an the only solution I came to was using my Windows cpu and not my Mac. Worked like a charm on Windows. Hope this helps a lil.
