In past we have already shared about how to install custom fonts on rooted android phone. Type Fresh, is a free android application that allows you to change system fonts on rooted Android device. You may follow our step by step guide listed here in order to root your android phone. Currently, the app offers 3 main functions:
- Apply selected TTF fonts to the system
- Backup system fonts to /sdcard/Fonts
- Restore backed up fonts from /sdcard/Fonts
Just put the TTF files in /sdcard/Fonts and apply the selected TTF fonts to the system. Once applied, reboot your android phone. Sometimes ROM updates might overwrite any fonts with the default ones. In such cases you can always restore original backup fonts but you have to save original fonts first, if you want to restore to these one in future.
