HTC EVO 4G was launched today on various retail outlets and on the very first day many users are reporting a serious flaw or bug sitting on android beast. When you try to write to the packed-in card you will be prompted with “insufficient file permissions”. Even many others are reporting that the EVO phone completely fails to read the card. This is indeed a serious BUG? How can the development team miss it out? Unless, an OTA update arrives, HTC EVO 4G is not powerful at all.

Following this, HTC spokesman Keith Nowak said that they have identified the cause and there would be an OTA fix coming “very shortly.”

OTA update has been pushed with software version 1.32.651.6, baseband version has also been updated to 1.39.00,04,26 which include fix for storage bug on EVO 4G and most likely fixing the root that came yesterday.
