As promised, Gevey SIM Interposer is actually unlocking iPhone 4 on latest baseband 02.10.04 and 03.10.01. Many iPhone users tested it and were able to unlock their device and make calls on unofficial carrier including T-Mobile in US. Check out the videos after the break!

Those who are living under the rock, GEVEY SIM only supports iOS 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.2.1 and baseband 1.59.00, 2.10.04, 3.10.01 and in order to stay unlock it needs to be with the phone. If you switch off your iPhone or battery drains out, you will lose unlock and you need to follow the entire unlocking process again.
How to use GEVEY SIM to unlock iPhone 4
Step 1: Turn of your iPhone 4 and insert your SIM card and GEVEY Sim Together with th emetal SIM tray provided.
Step 2: Turn on you riPhone and wait for the SIM Welcome menu to show and then select “accept”
Step 3: At the begining a “no service” message will show on your iPhone. Don’t do anything and wait until you see one signal bar appears on the top left corner.
Step 4: After you see the signal bar you dial “112″ and hang-up within 2 seconds.
Step 5: Turn on the Airplane Mode and then turn off right away. Your iPhone will show “SIM Failure” and then “No SIM Card Installed”
Step 6: Until the “No SIM Card Installed” message shows up turn on the Airplane Mode againand turn it off right away again. The ‘SIM Failure’ message will show and the signal will show up after a few seconds.
Your iPhone 4 should now be unlocked on baseband 02.10.04, 03.10.01. After all the steps above, if there is still no signal, power off your iPhone, switch it back on and repeat all the steps from the beginning.
Unlike ultrasn0w which comes free, this piggyback GEVEY turbo SIM card will cost you $75. Currently, iPhone Dev Team is hard at work to bruteforce crack the unique 40-bit NCK key on the device by coming weekend, which can then be used to unlock iPhone 4 permanently. We would advise you to wait for Dev Team’s statement before buying it.
