JailbreakMe can run on any device, with both old and new iBoot, and also support the new iPhone 4. Unlike previous methods, JailbreakMe works in a whole new way: you don’t need any PC / Mac or cable but just a simple internet connection and Mobile Safari. Follow simple guide below required to run the jailbreak and install Cydia.

  • Any iPhone or iPod Touch iPad;
  • iOS 4.0 or later (also runs on firmware 3.1.2, 3.1.3 and 4.0.1).

How to Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPod Touch and iPad using Jailbreakme.com

The program sometimes has a problem, so it is always advisable to sync your iDevice with iTunes.

Step 1. Visit site www.jailbreakme.com through our device and wait for the complete page load.

Step 2. At this point we do is run the “Slide to jailbreak”, similar to the classic “Slide to unlock” that we perform daily by LockScreen to access the springboard of our device. The device will begin to download the data necessary to execute the procedure.

Step 3. You will notice “Jailbreaking Sit Tight” notice window. Wait for a few seconds to complete installation and a new popup will warn that the Cydia icon on springboard was added.

Step 4. We’re done! Close Safari with the Home button, go to SpringBoard and you will find Cydia. Your iPhone 4 is Jailbroken successfully! It is a super fast and simple procedure to Jailbreak iPhone iOS firmware. Truly beautiful!

Note: Those who are unable to access the site JailbreakMe.com (displaying only the background space), we recommend changing your DNS. To do this you just go to “Settings> Wi-Fi”, click on the blue arrow next to the name of your connection, delete the “numbers” on the DNS field and enter the Google or “8.8.8.8″ (without quotes).

    For those who are hoping to do this on their iPod Touch 2G — please don't. It will only make your OS slower. The best platform there is is still the 3.1.3.

    I have upgraded my iPod Touch 2G to iOS 4 and I was disappointed. I upgraded it to iOS 4.1 and the feeling is still the same. iPhone 4 JailBreak Latest News

    I was waiting patiently for the Spirit update and ran across a post that brout me to this page. Always trusting Comex I tried this jailbreak on a 4.0.1 IPhone 3G. The website popped up very quickly…watched the “sit tight” screen for about 5 minutes (logged into WIFI)…and….SUCCESS! Flawless and fast (not as fast as Spirit, but the outcome was the same). Thank you!!
