Sometimes, on pretext of seeing your new iPhone device, your friend or colleague might also check text messages or may browse through the photos that are private. With  Locktopus iPhone app you can easily set password to individual apps to mark it as private and thus protecting all email, SMS, contacts, call history, browser and any other application from prying eyes.

How to Password Protect Individual iPhone Apps with Locktopus

Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhoneiPod Touch 3G JailbreakMe.

Step 2: Launch Cydia. Search for ‘Loctopus’ and install it.

Step 3: Restart your iPhone springboard.

After restarting springboard you will be prompted with message with a default password as ‘password’ which can be changed via settings. You can then use this password to unlock any locked application.     This app sucks. Very basic functions and it doesnt seem to be updated by the dev. Lockdown Pro is by far a much better app. I regret purchasing Loctopus!

    SMS Preview BUG! Please advide the developer if you can. When the preview sms bubble is displayed, password request is not displayed. My english is bad, I know.
