Put iPhone and iPod Touch in Recovery Mode with RecBoot

RecBoot is a nifty app designed that helps during recovery of the iPhone for both Windows and Mac users. Its task is indeed to put the idevice in Recovery Mode or do exit this mode simply by clicking a button. So Simple! Isn’t? It implements the use of iRecovery and MobileDevice.h in the OS X version, and in the Windows version it implements both iRecovery and iPHUC from memory.

RecBoot comes handy for rookie users and for those who don’t know how to insert the device into recovery mode and for those who have the does not have the Home key fully functional.

How to use RecBoot in iPhone or iPod Touch

  1. Download free software for Windows ( here ) or Mac ( here )
  2. Connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to your computer and run the program
  3. Click on one of two buttons depending on what you do: Enter Recovery Mode or go out with.
