HTC EVO 4G android phone riding on Sprint network has been rooted successfully. The root came soon after the Google distributed the powerful EVO 4g to all of the attendees of Google I/O conference. mmastrac over at grack managed to get the standard su tool installed on EVO 4G and has posted an image showing an application called Superuser Permissions on HTC EVO 4G, which is only possible on rooted devices. Currently, only the pictures and video have been posted.



Rooting HTC EVO 4G Android phone will provide full access to its system files allowing you to modify the phone’s firmware and spruce up your handset by installing third party apps, themes and custom ROMs. The EVO 4G root came almost two weeks before its public availability.
