by Brian on July 28, 2010

Leaked and unofficial Android 2.2 Froyo build for Droid Incredible was quite obvious and we knew it will be coming very soon. It was already reported that the delay in OTA update for HTC Droid Incredible was because of Android 2.2 and that the update is scheduled in late July or early August. Some guys over at XDA have managed to get the download files for Android 2.2 (Froyo) with Sense UI for Droid Incredible.

The good news is that all features are working including camera. If you cannot hold your appetite to feast on Froyo, then head over here to install android 2.2 Froyo on your Droid Incredible. Do not forget to flash the previously leaked OTA prior to flashing this leak.

Once froyo is installed you will be getting 802.11n WiFi, 3G Mobile Hot Spot, HTC Widget: Email, HTC Widgets like, News, EAS Updates, 720p Video Recording, Amazon MP3, Skype and My Verizon and many more features on your Droid incredible, as reported earlier.

Those who do not know, Android 2.2 is much faster than Android 2.1and almost 2 to five times faster than 2.1. There are tons of other features that will be accompanied in android 2.2 update apart from flash 10.1, native internet tethering, and application manager. Is it normal for me to just flash my radio and with that get the 3G hot spot, HTC widgets, 720p HD Video Recording, etc? I have everything or practically everything we're supposed to get with 2.2 and I don't have 2.2. Hmmm, very strange. I unrooted my phone to be able to flash radio then was going to root again but I don't know, now.
