You must have seen huskermania playing Xbox Live using HTC Droid Incredible. Well, that was a trial project before the major project executed. Ha has now successfully played Xbox Live on the middle of a bridge on top of the Missouri River using HTC Droid Incredible’s Internet connection. Watch the Incredible video
To have the 100% Mobile Xbox Live Experience huskermania used the following gadgets
- Standard Storage Rack
- APC UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
- Xbox 360,
- 13″ MacBook Pro, (running Windows 7 Ultimate) and the
- Bose Companion 3 Subwoofer.
- 19″ 720p Samsung HDTV
- HTC Droid Incredible
- 2 Satellite Speakers
He connected his Xbox 360 via ethernet cable, to his 13″ MacBook Pro which is running Windows 7 Ultimate. The computer is connected, via USB, to the HTC Droid Incredible. The Incredible provides internet to the computer via the PDAnet application. The computer then bridges the connection it’s receiving from the phone with the Xbox 360. (Phone –) Computer –) Xbox 360) This allows the Xbox to connect to Xbox Live anywhere the phone has a data connection.
The whole console is said to be powered via the UPS, which can be recharged in the car during transit.
