Droid Incredible users were waiting anxiously for HTC to hit an OTA update since long. But why HTC is not rolling-out? What could be the reason? Some legit sources are reporting that HTC is porting Android 2.2 Froyo to Droid Incredible instead of an OTA update and plans to release it by the end of July or the beginning of August.
Droid Incredible is rumored to gallop on Froyo with topping of 802.11n, 3G Mobile Hot Spot, HTC Widget: Email, HTC Widget: News, EAS Updates, 720p Video Recording, Amazon MP3, Skype and My Verizon as reported by us earlier.
As of now no ETA has been announced as to when HTC will be pushing update. But one thing is sure if DI gets the 2.2 update, users will get bunch of powerful features. Android 2.2 is much faster than Android 2.1and almost 2 to five times faster than 2.1. There are tons of other features that will be accompanied in android 2.2 update apart from flash 10.1, native internet tethering, and application manager.
