It is being reported that HTC is currently working on a version of their famous Sense UI for WP7 (Windows Phone 7). Elated? You must think twice before you head-on to OS other than Microsoft’s new OS for mobile devices. There is a strong indication that Windows Phone 7 will get HTC Sense UI in October, not too far from actual hands on. Isn’t?

The news stems from of HTC’s user experience design team head Drew Bamford who told Forbes that Sense UI will appear in the company’s Windows Phone 7 creations, and believes it will live on in Android 3.0 Gingerbread. According to him, the forthcoming version of Sense would be different from current Windows Phone 6.5-based devices. Bamford added:
“We won’t be able to replace as much of the core Windows Phone experience, but we will augment it.”
It is worth noting that Microsoft has imposed limitations on handset vendors for changing the UI. But HTC Sense is expected to continue, despite Microsoft’s restriction of altering Windows Phone 7 interface.
