Hackers over iModZone have developed a new application iReSign that allows you to install cracked applications without having to jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. Unlike iPA God, the tool is very easy to use and lets app bundles (.ipa) files to be signed or resigned with digital certificate from Apple for distribution. iResign cracked app installer works on both iOS 4 and iOS 5 firmware.
How to Install Cracked Apps using iReSign on iPhone
Pre-Requisite:
- Mac OS 10.6+
- A certificate issued by Apple which can be obtained at http://iMZDL.com/udid2
Step 1: Download a cracked .ipa and place it on your desktop. An .ipa file which you want to sign can be found on apptrackr (search Google)
Step 2: Download iReSign (Via iMZDL)
Step 3: Register your UDID with a Provisioning Profile & Certificate for just $15 per device. The Unique Device Identifier, popularly known as UDID for your iPhone/iPod Touch can be viewed in iTunes by clicking on your serial number (2 Times).
Step 4: Open iReSign and browse for the .iPA files (refer Step 1)
Step 5: In the second field make sure you have Keychain Access for your certificate. Example: iPhone Developer: Tommy Trang (I7U4261P80)
Step 6: Click ReSign! It will now perform a series of steps like extracting the original app, codesigning, verifying and then saving automatically to your desktop.
Step 7: Done! The app is now re-signed. Now drag the resigned copy of the iPA into iTunes and Sync!
Note: Make sure you have the mobile provision on your device. To do that, email the mobile provision to yourself, open up your email on your device in safari (not the mail app) and download it. Syncing should work perfectly. To make life easier, you can follow the instructions in the video guide listed below.
