Status: iOS 4.2.1 Untethered Jailbreak Arriving Soon!

The iPhone Dev-Team has confirmed that they have successfully untethered the iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak. But only for those who have saved iOS 4.2 Beta3 hashes. A new teaser video showing the untethered the iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak in action will be arriving soon!

MuscleNerd recently tweeted, Got “backup plan” for untethered 4.2.1 JB working (video coming up). Uses mysterious 4.2b3 hashes Cydia kept for you.

(It’s a “backup plan” because comex is working on a more extensible one, but this method is also generalizable)

    i have an 3g ipod touch with mc . I tried to use greenpoison to jailbreak it but for some reason when it gets to jailbreak it reads unsuccesful? Y? is the greenpoison not upgraded enough for the 4.1 mc yet?
