Recently, Apple blocked the site JailbreakMe.com from the Apple Store after some of the pranksters visited the nearest iPhone store, not for iPhone 4 demos, but to jailbreak iPhone 4 inside Apple store itself using web-based untethered jailbreak JailbreakMe.com. Undeterred by Apple block, hackers managed to find a way out to jailbreak iPhone and iPad in Apple store. One of the user IT Geek, successfully jailbroken a demo iPad at local Best Buy store by using his Nexus One’s mobile hotspot capabilities. Check out the video after the break!
This is the most innovative way we have found to jailbreak Apple iPad. The guy is tethering the iPad to his cellphone data-connection, something AT&T does not allow you to do even with your iPhone. However, Apple is already ready with a fix for this terrifying Jailbreak exploit, and will be rolling-out iOS 4.0.2 firmware this week.
