by Jeffry on April 7, 2010

We all know that Apple is unveiling its next generation iPhone OS 4.0 on Thursday  and lots of goodies are expected including full multitasking, iAd mobile advertising service, and gaming related announcements. In addition to it, iPhone 4.0 will support iPad printing as printing directly from iPad is currently not available, as hinted by Apple.

Apple’s iWork support page says “printing directly from iPad is not currently available,” likely indicating this will be part of iPhone 4.0

Currently, users save the documents to a desktop computer that can print them, via email or using iPad’s new File Sharing feature in iTunes. Apple may also announce printing support via Bluetooth or WiFi on iPhone 4.0 firmware.

If the said features goes missing in iPhone 4.0, there is a possibility that the features will be included either in iPhone OS 4.0.1 or iPhone 4.1 firmware.
