Just a note: Android phones can be rooted to allow wireless tethering on most root mod ROMs. The Nexus One can serve WiFi through either USB or wireless tethering once rooted. The EVO hasn't been released, so it hasn't been rooted yet. Once rooted, it may be possible to share the 4G signal with additional devices without paying the extra $30 monthly premium. If those $30 a month are important to you, check to see if the EVO can be rooted after launch for tethering.

The EVO is the clear winner here bar the lack an OLED screen. HTC please bring this to the UK!!! It will be the most popular Android handset yet!

WOW, EVO seems a sure winner. Things are getting good!!! Thanks to Apple which has sparked very fierce competition from HTC. But no innovation. Maybe they're waiting for Apple to come up with the next gadget to better it with a monkey or two, and some more ounces of weight. Any HTC device handles HTML5? The whole browsing experience without third-party plug-ins? Sure they do, but no one mentions it, why would that be?

Thanks for your well done comparison chart. As a result, this firms up my intention to finally move from my Tracfone to the Evo 4G. My experience with the Kindle has been flawless so I expect Sprint coverage to eventually do the job.
