iPhone 5 and iPad Mini Details Leaked, arriving in January 2011?

by Jeffry on August 4, 2010

Reports are coming that Apple is planning to launch the next generation iPhone 5 as early as in January 2011 because of the antenna issues with the iPhone 4. Most likely iPhone 5 will just be a repackaging of iPhone 4 components in a different shell without any change in the functionality. In addition to iPhone 5, Apple might also unveil 7-inch version of the iPad either later this year or early in 2011.

Notably, Steve Jobs announced free bumpers to convince infuriated customers. Though bumpers alleviate grip-of-death problems, but a hardware fix is very much required which is only possible in next generation of iPhone (iPhone 5). Stay tuned for more updates on iPhone 5 and 7-inch version of the iPad.

I don't understand the idea of smaller iPads, cause people have been even talking about this first iPad as just a bigger iPod Touch. But I would be glad if they released the iPhone 5 in January 2011. I'm curious what they will improve in the next version.
