iPhone 5 with Aluminium Back, Repositioned Camera Concept

by Jeffry on June 30, 2011

New concept photos of iPhone 5 have emerged that could make it to the final version. Taking most of the rumors into account, graphic designer Michal Bonikowski has offered the thoughtful concept mockups of iPhone 5 which is likely to hit in September this year.

These iPad 2-inspired concept images clearly show thinner iPhone 5 with aluminum back and re-positioned camera but hotly debated edge-to-edge screen is missing. Some of the features will definitely make into the final iPhone 5 cut, such as thinner body and a re-positioned flash camera.

Aluminum back looks hazy to us as radio signals can’t pass through metals technically. Even band around has resulted into signal attenuation in iPhone 4 and thus is less likely to make the way into the final retailing model.

But it’s always fun to look at pictures! What do you think of these variations? Share your thoughts! Via [Yanko Design]

Feels strange btw to see on iPhone 5 a design already obsolete for the iPad ..
