iREB 4.0 is all set to be released soon along with sn0wbreeze 2.0 jailbreak tool. iReb is an application designed to turn your non- jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch into a temporary jailbroken state to permit custom firmware created by Sn0wbreeze or PwnageTool. Currently iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4 is NOT supported by iREB until a bootrom or iBoot exploit is released.
What does iREB 4.0 do?
- Put your iPhone 3G / 2G and the iPod Touch 2G into DFU mode for restore instead of using recovery mode.
- iH8sn0w’s iREB tool lets you bypass any errors while restoring to a custom IPSW in iTunes for: iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch 1G. It bypass all of 16xx and 21 Restore Error.
- iReb 4.0 provides you both online and offline mode. With online mode it uses Apple servers and requires an internet connection whereas offline mode requires the 3.1.3 ISPW.
