I followed the instructions exactly and ran into an error that I initially didn’t know how to fix. The modification of the file with Pwnage worked fine, but when I tried to restore to the custom firmware with iTunes (my version was 10.2.1, not 10.1.2) I received an error message that my iPhone was not eligible for this requested build (paraphrased). Turns out that this error is expected (even though it wasn’t mentioned in this article). You have to edit your hosts file so that the request to Apple’s server is redirected to Cydia’s server. This does require that Cydia have your SHSH blobs on file already, AFAIK. Check out the following links for more info: http://www.saurik.com/

ok my dears brothers i m agree with you all…but please please tell us confirm date that when iphone 4 this baseband 3.10.01 unlock will be release……so please brothers release it hurry….we all are waiting for unlock…and my dears brothers before you tell us that it will confirm release on 28th february 2011…but no unlock was released on this date also…..so please please release it please……. i m very thank full you to all…… please do something my lovely brothers…..because here my 8 friends and 5 cousenzz are also facing this problem……now we all hope that you will release it hurry….thank you so much…iphone dev team….and also thank you so much you to all who are working on it…..ours best wishes are with you all.
