“iPad 2 Jailbreak is almost Ready”. After being asked by one of the user, iOS hacker comex replied that iPad 2 will soon get its own taste of freedom. Earlier this week, comex updated JailbreakMe.com portal and posted a photo that fuelled speculations about upcoming userland jailbreak. It is still unclear whether it is an iOS 5 jailbreak or an iPad 2 jailbreak or both.
How browser based JailbreakMe works?
Visit a Web site JailbreakMe.com via your mobile safari browser which hosts an exploit code written by comex to bypass the digital code signatures. Click the button JailbreakMe and wait for a while to enjoy fully pwned device. You don’t need any computer/laptop or cable but just an internet connection and Mobile Safari browser.
Currently no ETA has been cited so far, but we can safely assume that most of the work has already been completed. Our best bet goes with Funday (that is on Sunday). There is however a possibility that Comex will only post a teaser video and will only release it once iOS 5 is released for prime-time availability. We will keep our eagle-eyes on it!
