Hacker Comex has updated the site JailbreakMe.com, in the same way Apple do for its online store blackouts. The sticky sign reads – ‘We’ll be back soon.” It’s a clear indication that the pdf-based JailbreakMe 3.0, a web-based jailbreak for iPad 2 is just around the corner.
The one-touch instant method supports firmware iOS 4.1 to iOS 4.3.3 on iPhone 4, 3GS ( both Old and new Bootroms), CDMA iPhone 4, iPad, iPad 2, iPod touch 4G, 3G. Other jailbreaking tools require plugging a device in restore mode to a computer, this hack just needs iOS device with Mobile Safari browser.
Interestingly, Beta version of the tool got leaked few days back from one of the beta tester and some of users even pwned the WiFi version of iPad 2. The same leaker, even slipped out ETA to public after posting private email discussion held between him and comex.
