Upcoming Motorola Droid 2 has been appeared partially specced in leaked version of Verizon’s summer 2010 device catalog. The leaked VZW catalog also features Droid X, HTC Droid Incredible, and LG Ally which is known to us. Some confirmed specifications for Motorola Droid 2 are pretty much what we reported earlier – 512MB RAM/8 GB ROM, 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera, 3G Mobile Hotspot functionality and an 8GB microSD card preinstalled with upto 16GB expandable memory.

Droid 2 has been listed as ‘coming soon’ and unfortunately no ETA has been cited so far. But, as reported earlier, a trustworthy resource tipped that Motorola Droid 2 would be shipping with Android 2.2 Froyo instead android 2.1 and will launch on August 23. This makes sense, since by that time Droid X and Droid 1 both will get the update. What about price? Well, it seems that Motorola Droid 2 might debut around $199 with 2yr contract. What do you say?

Verizon summer 2010 Device Catalog also confirms the Pantech Jest, the Samsung Intensity 2, the Verizon Wireless Salute, and the Samsung Gusto. The entire device catalog is available at source link!
