Motorola Droid X Launched, Retailing for $199 on July 15th

The next Android beast (Droid X) for Big Red (Verizon) has now arrived. Needless to say that Droid X by Motorola was the most awaited smartphone among android lineup which is galloping on 1GHz OMAP processor. Droid X has been bestowed with android 2.1 eclair ROM and unfortunately, Flash 10.1 and android 2.2 Froyo went missing at launch and might arrive in summer. Motorola Droid X Pricing Plans

Droid X will be available from July 15 and would be retailing for $199.99 on contract after $100 rebate. WiFi mobile hotspot service with support for tethering up to 5 devices will be available for an extra $20 per month with a 2GB cap.

Any Verizon customer whose contract ends anytime in 2010 is eligible for the upgrade pricing (Similar offer was given by AT&T for iPhone 4 launch).
