Motorola Droid X Advert Pokes Fun at iPhone 4 Antennagate!

Motorola has given a fitting reply to iPhone 4 by publishing a Droid X advertisement in a newspaper which indirectly says that the signal attenuation issues are not common to smartphones and like iPhone 4, no bumpers (jackets) are required. The ad says:

no-jacket-droid-x-ad

At Motorola, we believe a customer shouldn’t have to dress up their phone for it to work properly.  That’s why the DROID X comes with a dual antenna design.  The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like to make crystal clear calls without a bulky phone jacket.  For us it’s just one of those things that comes as a given when you’ve been making mobile phones for over 30 years.

Steve Jobs have been busy defending the iPhone 4, which has been bitten by numerous problems since before its launch. After the antennagate episode, Steve maintained throughout iPhone 4 Press Conference that all smartphones are not perfect and eventually tried to alleviate infuriated customers by showing iPhone Antenna test lab Images, comparison videos and eventually announcing free iPhone 4 bumper case

Few days back, Taiwanese news posted iPhone 4 saga video and Samsung published Galaxy S advert in British newspaper aimed to poke fun at iPhone 4, for antennagate issue. It seems that the antennagate issue will haunt Steve Jobs for a long time. What do you think?
