Recently, Droid 2.1 ESE53 SBF file was leaked which included Live Wallpapers and the 2.1 Launcher. Now, a new EPE54B Android 2.1 update for Google Nexus One has been leaked in the wild. The kernel version for this ROM is 2.6.29-01117-g4bc62c2 android-build@apa26 #1 and baseband version is 32.26.00.24U_4.04.00.03_2.
Compared to the last leaked build ERE36B, there are couple of noticeable changes.
- No new radio and kernel
- system/framework/* changed
- system/app/*.apk changed
- system/bin/debuggerd changed
- system/etc/security/otacerts.zip changed
- system/lib/libhtc_ril.so changed
- Added de-odex packs for framework and app directories.
The Stock ROM EPE54B contains stock images, update zip, radio zip, de-odex packs, superboots and online kitchen.
EPE54B – image Format – An original secure signed zip from HTC which can be used to return your phone to completely, original, stock state containing all of the images for the various partitions on the device, which can be flashed via fastboot.

EPE54B – update zip format – It is stock, secure and unrooted which does not include the Radio update. If you flash and end up in a ‘boot loop’, re-enter recovery, wipe then reflash.

EPE54B – superboot images – If you would like to use EPE54B but would like either root access or an insecure boot image (for adb remount permissions), then install superboot images with himem enabled. It is important to note that after installing the himem superboot on Nexus One, you will need to reflash your ROM in order to revert, as the himem superboot includes an updated wifi driver.
