If you are a die-hard fan of swanky Angry Birds, you will definitely like to get these swanky Angry Birds-themed speaker docks! Officially licensed Angry Birds speakers from Gear4 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad will soon hit the stores.
The speakers come in the shapes of Red Bird ($89.99), Helmet Pig ($119.99), and Black Bird ($129.99) and should hit stores in September. Any device with a 3.5mm jack can be rested easily into the Red Bird’s 2.1 speakers, and the crate-shaped stands are designed for everything from MP3 players to tablets like iPad. Helmet Pigs sports an iPod/iPhone dock on the top of its head. Black Bird’s stand includes a dock that will also charge your iPad. Pretty cool!
No official word yet on when these Angry Bird speakers and docs will be made available in stores but they should be available by September this year. In partnership with Rovio, Gear4 is planning to expand its range of accessories not only to iPods, iPhones and iPads but for Android handsets also.
