Apple has pushed the iOS 5 BETA 2 Software Update [build 9A5248d] to developers, now supporting Wireless syncing for Mac OS X computers. The latest bits of firmware supports iPad 2, iPad (1st-gen), iPhone 4 (GSM), iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G. All those who have enrolled in iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program, can download iOS 5 Beta2 on their device.

iOS hacker p0sixninja has just confirmed in a series of tweets that he would be demoing iPhone 5 jailbreak LIVE at MyGreatFest, a London-based iPhone-related convention, in case the device launches. Oddly enough, the fifth-generation iPhone launch date is still unknown and the jailbreaking community has started boasting about giving the iPhone 5 device the full-freedom.

Bloomberg is now reporting that Apple will unleash its next-gen iPhone 5 in September this year that boasts A5 chip for fast data processing and 8- megapixel advanced camera. In addition to it, Apple is working on a high resolution iPad 3 in parallel. This latest report only seems to strengthen earlier claims from multiple sources.

Quick heads-up! The hacker has confirmed via his twitter account that the JailbreakMe 3.0 will jailbreak iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G including iPhone 3GS running on firmware iOS 4.2.1 to 4.3.3. This debunks the earlier rumor that the comex userland exploit will jailbreak iOS 5 too.

“iPad 2 Jailbreak is almost Ready”. After being asked by one of the user, iOS hacker comex replied that iPad 2 will soon get its own taste of freedom. Earlier this week, comex updated JailbreakMe.com portal and posted a photo that fuelled speculations about upcoming userland jailbreak. It is still unclear whether it is an iOS 5 jailbreak or an iPad 2 jailbreak or both.

3 Chinese people have been convicted over their alleged roles in leaking information regarding iPad 2 prior to its official release. Mr. Xiao was sentenced to 18 months in prison, and fined USD 23000. Mr. Lin was sentenced to 14 months and fined USD 15427, and Ms. Hou was sentenced to a year in prison and fined USD 4600.
