Samsung Epic 4G Slider will now join the Sprint’s 4G handsets Lineup. The smartphone which is Samsung Mobile’s first 4G Android powered device resembles much with Galaxy S Pro, which we have been seeing leaks of for a few weeks.

Specification wise Samsung Epic 4G Slider will be galloping on 1GHz Samsung Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application processor sporting 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive display providing improved image quality better visibility when used under direct sunlight. Epic Slider has been reported to come packed with Android 2.1, QWERTY slider keypad with puffed keys, 3G/4G hotspot, 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash, 720p video recording (3x digital zoom for HD video), front-facing camera for video chat, Samsung’s AllShare and Social Hub features, 3.5mm headset, the normal Sprint apps, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, compass, six-axis motion sensor and an included 16GB microSD card. The specifications are comparable to HTC EVO but the screen size is reported to be smaller than the EVO 4G, but bigger than the Nexus One.

And what about android 2.2 froyo love? Would Samsung provide Epic 4G Slider 2.2 blessing? At present there is no rumor about Froyo coming on Epic 4G Slider and initially the smartphone will be shipped with Android 2.1 (Eclair). And if it comes along with 2.2 then it would be just an icing on the cake. There are tons of other features that will be accompanied in android 2.2 ROM apart from flash 10.1, native internet tethering, and application manager. With Samsung Epic 4G Slider you can surf the Web at 4G speeds in 32 cities, take 5-MP pictures and record 720p videos, and play games using the six-axis motion sensor. Like the Evo 4G, you will be able to make Qik video calls using the front-facing camera, as well as use the device as a mobile hotspot (connecting up to 5 devices to the EVO’s 8).

Soon you will get hold of 4G Android slider. Thought?
