Samsung Launched WiFi TV Remote Control App for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad

Samsung has launched Wi-Fi TV Remote Control app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad for their 2010 model Samsung internet TV.

The app allows you to use basic remote control functions by touching the onscreen controls or via gestures to change the volume or channel after touching the screen. Using the Keyboard option you can enter characters for the said internet, TV and so on and it also act as a Game Remote Control providing UI for games on internet TV as shown in screenshot.

It is important to note that this Wi-Fi remote control is functional only when connected to the same router as SAMSUNG TV and make sure that the Wi-Fi remote control in the setup menu is switched on.

The downside is that you the app will work only on the 2010 models with Internet@TV. Additionally, your TV must be WiFi-enabled or you can buy a USB WiFi dongle if wireless connectivity is not present.
