The New iPod Touch 4/4G to Gallop on A4 Processor – Report

Mingchi Kuo, senior analyst at Digitimes Research is reporting that the new iPod Touch 4G manufactured by Quanta Computer will be launched in August or September. The new iPod Touch 4G is said to be galloping on Apple’s latest A4 processor sporting 3-megapixel camera and capable of both photo and video recording. Kuo added that new iPod touch 4 shipments are expected to touch 17-18 million units in 2010.

Earlier, UK retailer John Lewis claimed that the upcoming iPod Touch 4 will feature an accelerometer and gyroscope which will add gaming credential to the media player. But still the veracity of these features of iPod Touch 4 / 4G cannot be ascertained to carry in actual retail model which is slated to be presented in September this year.
