iTag has officially released its Lost and Found application for Android handsets. iTag is a FREE service that lets you locate and recover your lost or stolen phones. In order to tap the market share, the company is now offering free Premium lifetime service for the first 10,000 people to register at iTag portal.

From iTag’s safe and secure website, owners can literally view the location of their phone on a map and track the stolen mobile easily. You can make your phone ring right from iTag.com, despite being in silent or vibratation mode. The best part about the app is that, whenever a thief switches the phone’s SIM card, an alert is sent to another mobile (as, pre configured) and the owner can view the new number to give it to the police authorities.
Features of iTag Lost and Found Service
- Remotes, keys can be locked so that no one can use the device.
- Back up and restore the phone’s address book.
- Remotely allow you to permanently wipe out or delete the complete data like passwords, credit cards and account numbers on android phone.
- Sends a text message to a friend that is closest to a lost phone, allowing them to help retrieve it. When SIM is changed, your friend will receive SMS along with associated phone number.
- Permission based mobile social networking features allows a consumer to see the location of friends and family.
