Veeence has just confirmed that the iPhone Dev-Team is not going to release an ultrasn0w unlock for iOS 4.1 basebands (05.14/02.10) until iOS 4.2 is released which is due in November. After a long wait; iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, iPad and Apple TV 2G users will be able to jailbreak their idevice using Greenpois0n but not be able to unlock them as the baseband is updated to 2.10.4 in the iOS 4.1 firmware. This is indeed a sad news for all users who are desperately waiting for iOS 4.1 carrier unlock.

The iPhone Dev-Team won’t release an unlock for iOS 4.1 basebands (05.14/02.10). Wait for 4.2.
It seems that the team has already carrier unlocked A4 / S5L8930 devices but do not want to waste the exploit. That is the reason, they are too much optimistic.
