Unlock iPhone 4 iOS 4.1 with Ultrasn0w to Arrive after iOS 4.2 Release!

Veeence has just confirmed that the iPhone Dev-Team is not going to release an ultrasn0w unlock for iOS 4.1 basebands (05.14/02.10) until iOS 4.2 is released which is due in November. After a long wait; iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, iPad and Apple TV 2G users will be able to jailbreak their idevice using Greenpois0n but not be able to unlock them as the baseband is updated to 2.10.4 in the iOS 4.1 firmware. This is indeed a sad news for all users who are desperately waiting for iOS 4.1 carrier unlock.

It seems that the team has already carrier unlocked A4 / S5L8930 devices but do not want to waste the exploit. That is the reason, they are too much optimistic. come on guys patience it’s not like you are paying the dev team or anything limera1 is already available for jailbreaking and as for the unlock some patience and of course some donations and stop acting selfish be reasonable instead of rushing the situation try to encourage the developers it is more reasonable than complaining .

This is stupid. If you have an unlock why the hell do you not release it for people to use. Who cares about an exploit. They will have to find new ones regaurdless, so why not make everyone happy and release it to us. This is absolutely rediculous.

I’m in the same boat as you guys bought a phone a month ago and it feels like forever I have been waiting for jailbreak but now have to wait some more!Is the dev team the only ones that can make a unlock?Can Geohot maybe make one and put out sooner than november?

It is a shame that so many people are stuck with baseband 2.10.4. People who bought Iphones and it comes with baseband 2.10.4 and their phones are not usable as they do not use AT&T.

The problem is that these developers hide their work for specific time (until they feel necessary) and they release it pretty late. They can do whatever they want but they should think about poor people who are stuck with a lock iPhone which is unuseable. People who do not know how to develope an unlock and they are willing to pay for unlock but no unlock is available in the market.

It is a real shame.
