Thousands of dollars worth of Apple iPhones were stolen worth $4000 during a burglary Thursday at UTC. Two men wearing hoodies and jeans broke through the University Towne Center (UTC) Apple Store’s iconic glass doors and stole the dozen of iPhone 4 early on Thursday morning at about 4:20 AM., when the store was closed, according to San Diego, California police. One of the men was allegedly carrying a red duffel bag.

Unfortunately, Security camera footage does not shows their faces clearly, but police is said to be optimistic in catching the thieves.

Due to high resale value of Apple products, Apple Stores have witnessed number of smash-and-grab robberies in recent years.
